Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color Blush Swatches

A few months ago, I swatched some of the Shiseido Satin Face Color Blushes ($30.00 for 0.22 oz) at my Nordstrom counter since I'd been lemming for a few shades. When I swatched the blushes, they were very soft, smooth, and had good color payoff. I liked that they weren't overly shimmery but instead had a lovely sheen and "glow" to them.
However, I felt that they were a bit more powdery than my other blushes (could be the testers?) and not as "spectacular" as I imagined they'd be -but I can't quite put my finger on why. All the shades are gorgeous though and look like they'd suit most skin tones very well. But, I'm still not sure if I'll be getting any..

The Colors (that I swatched):
1. RS 302 Tea Rose- Muted neutral rose
2. RD 103 Petal- Light pinky peach
3. RD 401 Orchid- Bright pink with a pink of coral (from what I can see from the pic -I forgot how it looked in person!)
4. PK 304 Carnation- Petal pink
5. WT 905 High Beam White- Sheer pearly white
6. BE 206 Soft Beam Gold- Sheer luminous gold

  1. the gold is neat, hmm, ive never tried a gold blush before lol. thats funny that your mom loves her music, i find most of her songs kind of annoying except california girls, actually the new one teenage dream is catchy too. damn katy perry and her catchiness!

  3. @ Pop Champagne.. Not sure if I'd try gold either -even for highlighting. =P And LOL Katy Perry DOES have really catchy songs.

@ Erynn.. I agree! But if it had "wowed" me more, I probably would've splurged and bought at least 1 even though it's $30 for a stinkin' blush.
