I've mentioned several times before that I absolutely adoreNARS lip glosses. I know some people hate them, but for those like me who love them, I'd highly recommend the NARS 3-Piece Duo Lip Gloss Set.
The Packaging: The set is packaged in a nice little box and wrapped with a ribbon -perfect and ready for gift giving. The tubes are like the "regular" NARS lip glosses tubes -except double sided. The rubbery, matte black "caps" are in the middle and have a doe foot applicator on each side (1 for each gloss.) I think the tubes are actually really convenient -they allow you to carry more gloss shades without the extra weight.
Ingredients
The Product: This is a great value. You get 0.96 oz for just $49.00! I think NARS may have discontinued all their duo lip glosses (they only have the lip gloss/lip stain duos on the site) but they used to be (I think) $28.00. The "regular" glosses are 0.28 oz for $24.00 each.  So no matter what, you're getting a really good deal.
NARS lip glosses tend to have a thinner texture. I've heard a lot of people describe NARS glosses as being sticky -but to me, they're more tacky. The tackiness helps the gloss stick to the lips but I don't find them to be sticky (like MAC glosses.) The gloss is also smooth and moisturizing and keeps my lips soft for hours (including the hours after the gloss has faded.) It lasts for about 4 hours on bare lips.
The only downside is the smell and taste -like waxy crayons. But once it's applied, it quickly goes away so it's really not too bad.

Sweet Dreams/Harlow Duo

Overall: I love this set. It also helps that I can actually use all the colors -even Boogie Nights and Rose Birman (I'm usually scared of darker shades.) For anyone who likes NARS glosses, definitely look into getting this set.

  1. I have orgasm, but I'm not really into glosses, so I won't buy one that expensive again. I heard they go bad fast. Though not as fast as my clinique glosses. Those smell like feet a week after I buy them.

  2. Yea, I think more expensive glosses are only worth it if you're a gloss person and will use them. LOL! They smell like feet to you?! That's horrible. =P They do smell weird to me too though but more like crayons.
