My First "Real" ELF Makeup Haul

So I placed my first "real" ELF makeup order last week during their fabulous 60% off sale. My first order with ELF has been mainly for their brushes and then one palette. I placed the order on Tuesday and it arrived this past Monday (even though FedEx said it would be delivered Wednesday) so I was pleasantly surprised. =) I've tried a few ELF products in the past but most of them had been total duds but I still had lots of hope after reading so many great reviews.
Erynn mentioned the "Warm Bronzer" to me many times so I finally got it! I also picked up the "Blush & Bronzer Duo" and "Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter" -both of which Justine had done a post on. I can't wait to try everything out!
What I Got:
I also got a free gift for "referring 3 people to ELF" after I had placed the order. The option pops up after you've submitted payment -just fill in 3 emails and you automatically get a free gift.

All this should've costed me $25.00 (not including shipping or tax) but after 60% off, the total was only $10.00!! I also had to pay the pricey $6.95 shipping fee so the total was $16.95 for 11 products -pretty sweet deal. =)

UPDATE: Ughh I just realized ELF missed one of the products I ordered -the Shimmer Palette. I just emailed them so hopefully they respond ASAP. I hate when this happens. Does anyone know if their customer service is any good?

  1. Nice deal Kali. So far Elf has not tempted me to pick up anything but I'll wait for your review to decide.

  2. Oh that is a sweet deal! For some reason i thought the 60% off had to be over $25 post-discounts, so I didn't get anything that time. I did order right before hand tho and will be reviewing too. Can't wait to see yours.

  3. @ Kristie.. That's how I felt for a long time too but I kept reading reviews everywhere and wanted to give them a try. I probably would've have been tempted if there hadn't been a gigantic sale though!

@ PAG.. I can't wait to see what you got! Will be working on reviews soon -they're totally piling up. =P

  4. Yay, hope you like the Bronzer :D And the blushes too! I luuurve ELF's Studio blushes. I didn't have very good experiences w/ their facial whips though... too sticky, shimmery, and scented for me XD

  5. I hope so too! I've heard great thinks about the bronzers and blushes. =)

Aww too bad about the Facial Whips. I looked up reviews for them before buying and most of them said they weren't very good but I got them anyways (something I wouldn't normally do.) I just really wanted some illuminators. =P

  6. Elf has such great sales! My first order was during a 60% off studio. I now have everything I want for a while, so their new sales can't tempt me!

  7. They totally do! 60% off already low prices equals next to nothing for new makeup. Glad that you're holding out to makeup sales -I'm so easily tempted. =(

  10. @ Laura Beth.. Ooh! Definitely do some reviews if you do. =) Also, if you're buying a lot, it's way cheaper if you buy online.

    @ Alvira.. Thanks =)

  13. Ooh! I participated in the 60% off studio a few months ago :) The bronzer and the blushes are a hit for me, as well as the brushes! The big one you have especially :D I can't wait for your reviews!! Have fun trying them all on!

    I agree, shipping is crazy!!!

  14. That's great because I got those products (blushes, bronzers)! LOL.. now I know they have some real potential for sure.

Ugh, I know. What's with the ridiculous shipping fee when it doesn't even come in a box (at least my orders.) It's just a standard envelope.
