It makes me so mad when makeup prices go up. It makes you feel like you need to hoard a few products before the prices get go up. I remember when UDPP was like $16 -now it's $18! NARS Blushes were I think $24 before and now they're $26? It makes me so mad -makeup is already expensive and they have to jack up the prices even more?! It's evil I tell you..
So starting in the Fall..
MAC Lipstick- $15.00 USD/$18.00 CDN (was $14.00 USD/$16.50 CDN)
MAC Lipglass- $15.00 USD/$18.00 CDN (was $14.00 USD/$16.50 CDN)
MAC Eyeshadow (single)- $15.50 USD/$18.50 CDN (was $14.50 USD/$17.50 CDN)
MAC Blush (powder blush)- $19.50 USD/$23.50 CDN (was $18.50 USD/$22.00 CDN)
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow- $21.00 USD/$25.00 CDN (was $19.50 USD/23.50 CDN)
MAC Lipgelee- $15.00 USD/$18.00 CDN (was $14.00 USD/$16.50 CDN)
That's what I have so far -I'm sure there are other products with prices that will be increased.
Ok now I'm seriously not liking this. Economic downturn and they raise the prices for lipsticks up to $15 bucks? This is the reason why I'm slowly replacing all my lipsticks with Chanel. At least I know I'm getting quality product that doesn't get repromoted over and over again with jacked up price!
ReplyDeleteYea, I've been doing the same. I figure that gradually buying more Shiseido and Shu lippies will save me in the longrun -even though they're more expensive. I rarely use my MAC lipsticks and don't buy any unless the color is absolutely gorgeous. Even though they're just $14 (now) and that's cheap for "high-end", they're really not the best quality.
ReplyDeleteUgh.. I HATE when prices go up Kristie! I feel bad for Canadians.. seriously, look at the ridiculous prices THEY have to pay. And when I went to Italy a few months back, one MAC lippie was like 18 euros (about 27 USD) at the time.
